There was a continued saying during my small stint in the SF community.
“Professionals practice until they can’t get it wrong, and amateurs practice till they get it right.”
This same mentally can be adapted to every task we as a individual or team takes responsiblity to bear. It is what resets you when you faulter at the verge of victory. It is that chalky bitter taste of humility that your best was not good enough. You didn’t practice till you couldn’t get it wrong, and now you’re forced to see those glaring inadequacies.
The road never gets any easier, those you’re training against, never quit. It’s up to you to never stop until you can’t get it wrong.
